Visual Memory vs. Textual Recall
The skyscraper to the left of center was under construction. You can faintly see the last one of two jump-cranes at the very top! The reflective center core is an elevator which I rode every work day for maybe two years. The no smoke city pix shows layed over a small active blast furnace on the South Side, the bridge is over the "Mon-river" and that 1000 foot high US Steel Bldg skyscraper monster extends about 500 feet above the average terrain. There's a heliport at the top where I worked all summer replacing landing lighting.

Christmas 11:de Bou'quet

"At Christmas... I no more desire a rose,
Than wish a snow, in May's new-fangled shows;
But like of each thing__ that in season grows."

"To eat the boiled head of a pig___
Sliced like salami, is very strange.
It may seem cutting edge,
But it's actually a lot older than...
Any of the other traditional salami."

Sand's Logings
.:IIXII:.
"This death cult has no reason.
This enemy is
beyond negotiation.
This is what makes them so frightening!
This is what may cause so many,
To engage
in a sort of mental diversion__.
They don't want to confront this old horror,
They rush off in search of...
More
comprehensible of things to hate."
