~Books from Sue's personal library, on honey bees and all, were appreciated and returned on time. The mat background leaf is called "Elephant Ear". It's a tropical bulb. I shot this grand leaf from underneath, filtering through the direct sun light. This photo on photo composite in print (with mask & frame) went to SueD for her generosity. digipix preview I am planning a kids photo holding these marvelous leaf creations on either side ot their heads... hopefully sometime this coming summer season and certain to be full of new beauty-ops!

This bee is gathering pollen electrostaticly. The rear legs have collector bags. Dry pollen is chewed for moisture and most welcome when returned home. She is also sucking necter with a straw like mouth for same.
