This photo is really great. Love the bird tracks, but also the way the shadows turn what could have been blinding white snow into a wavy combination of textures. I tried to get a picture of grass growing through sublimating snow at twilight last year and got nothing this good. Thank you for sharing. Hey, do you know the poetry of Gerard Manley Hopkins? I bet you would like him.
